Intrinsically Safe Design with Industry-wide Certification

Okazaki’s explosion/flame proof temperature sensors are engineered and certified to comply with global safety standards including TIIS (Japan), ATEX (Europe), FM (USA), IECEx, NEPSI, KOSHA, TR CU, PESO, OSHA, and more. With high ingress protection (IP66, NEMA 4 & 4X), these products ensure reliable performance under extreme and hazardous conditions.

Available models include:

  • Aeropak® Thermocouples – AEROPAK® (T99 / T409)

  • Resiopak® Resistance Thermometer Sensors – RESIOPAK® (R99 / R409)

High Durability & Safety Features

Robust Materials and Construction

  • Sensor bodies are crafted from durable materials like A.D.C.12, SCS14, or CF8M (316 stainless steel equivalent), with optional coatings including acrylic and epoxy resins.

  • Certified ratings: IP66 for Japanese and international use, NEMA 4/4X for North America. Type 4 & 4X ratings are also available.

Secure Connection and Adaptability

  • Integration with pressure-proof packing type connectors is mandatory for Japanese-certified models and must align with cable specifications.

  • Connection threads are versatile: G1/2, G3/4, NPT1/2, NPT3/4, M20, M24, M25, ensuring compatibility with multiple systems.

Flexible Certification for Global Distribution

  • Globally accepted certifications eliminate redundant safety testing in importing countries, facilitating smoother delivery and integration.

  • Ambient temperature limits vary by region (e.g., Japan: −20 °C to +55 °C; Europe/USA: −50 °C to +75 °C).
